The Story Behind Anointistry - Spiritual Hygiene

These anointing oils & alignment sprays were born as a result of loving myself to the point of invention. I found myself needing extra support during the more difficult parts of healing from lifelong abuse / my first dark night of the soul, and took matters into my own hands as I intuitively gravitated more towards harnessing the power of my own mind, herbalism, & spirituality. Through practice I discovered that repetition, suggestion, and meaning shape the brain, influence emotional regulation, and reinforce new internal narratives- so creating these tools to keep myself on track when my mind was swirling otherwise just made sense. The idea to create this line of anointing oils hit me like a freight train after reading Magdalene Mysteries about Mary Magdalene (HIGHLY recommend if you'd like to completely deconstruct... everything). I began to tap into the divine feminine energy within me that had been suppressed by generational cycles of trauma and abuse for far too long... It just felt right. Like many of my creations- this collection, their designs, and the details were clear in my mind and just flowed out of me.

Through researching each ingredient & their energetic properties, focusing my intent on the creation of the oil/spray, testing them on myself for months- taking intentional moments of meditation on my intentions during every application, and voicing aloud what I was intending from applying them; my scattered, anxious thoughts gradually gave way to clarity, and wherever I directed my focus, meaningful change followed.

The magic isn't to be credited to just the herbs/stones/intention... They're just tools to include in your tool belt of healing modalities. The magic is in utilizing the quiet focus of your own mind, demanding that your will be done because you truly know that you deserve it, and knowing that you are the creator of your own world by controlling what you focus on (not in a toxic "I don't see the horrors occurring" way, but in a "I observe, but I persist and focus on what I can meaningfully control" way. It's a practice, not an on/off switch; continue and you will see results just like with anything else. I wasn't perfect at maintaining an exact routine, and I used to beat myself up for that... but because I made them this vibrant and eye-catching, I was able to trick my shiny-loving crow brain into naturally falling into routine enough to make a difference. The stones also serve as a sound maker when you shake or roll the bottle while focusing on your intent, and the stones are frequently beads as well so you can repurpose them after you finish your oil or spray!
